ELKHART COUNTY, IN - One person was killed in a two vehicle, head-on crash on U.S. 20 Friday night.
According to the Elkhart County Sheriff's Office, deputies were called to the scene just east of State Road 19 shortly after 11 PM.
Investigators say a 2013 Chevrolet passenger car traveling east on U.S. 20 and a 2019 Nissan passenger car traveling west on U.S. 20 collided head-on.
Reports indicate the driver of the Chevrolet was taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash.
Authorities report the driver of the Nissan, identified as 67-year-old Robert Spann (of South Bend, IN), was found dead at the scene.
