(DEKALB COUNTY) – Two people were injured over the weekend in a two vehicle crash.
The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office says 66 year old Susan Wentworth of Larwill was heading west on County Road 68 at 6:45 PM Sunday. She told Deputies that she crossed the first two northbound lanes of State Road 3 and was waiting to cross the southbound lanes to continue heading west.
Wentworth says as she was continuing west through the intersection, she did not see a southbound vehicle on State Road 3 and the automobiles collided, both going into a ditch.
Wentworth complained of chest pain from her seatbelt. The second driver, 39 year old Kristy Dillon of Hartford City, said she had head pain. Both women were taken to Parkview Regional Medical Center to be treated for their injuries.
Both vehicles were totaled in the crash. The LaOtto Fire Department assisted Deputies.
