(LANSING) – A Cass County man is $1 million richer.
The Michigan Lottery says that 65 year old Robert Cusumano matched all five numbers in the March 1 Powerball drawing and won the big prize. He bought his winning ticket at Big T in Lawton.
When he collected his prize at Lottery Headquarters in Lansing, Cusumano says he woke up the morning after the drawing and checked the alerts on his phone. Cusumano says he saw an alert he was a $1 million Powerball winner.
He double checked his ticket and saw he match all five numbers: 2-23-36-44-49.
