Randy Miller Resigns As Westview Superintendent
Saturday, September 6, 2025

(EMMA – The search is underway to find the next Superintendent for the Westview School Corporation.

Friday afternoon Westview School Board President Keith Lambright issued a media release, stating that Superintendent Dr. Randy Miller submitted his resignation. The Board of Education will officially accept Miller’s resignation at their next regularly scheduled meeting, September 11.

Lambright says the Board would like to thank Dr. Miller for his years of commitment and service to Westview Schools as a student, teacher, principal and Superintendent. He says they wish Miller only the very best in his future endeavors.

Lambright says the Board has started the process of hiring their next Superintendent. He says they will be working closely with knowledgeable professionals to help them recruit and hire the very best candidate. Lambright says the School Board desires, if practical, to have the Superintendent hired by early January 2026. He says the Board will not, however, rush the process simply to fill the position, and they will not sacrifice quality simply to secure a speedy hire.

When the hiring timeline is established Lambright says it will be shared with the community.

Miller had been Westview Superintendent since 2018.

He was arrested August 31 by the LaGrange County Sheriff’s Office on three charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, with a blood alcohol level of .15 or higher.
