(MONTPELIER) - Drivers in Montpelier are being advised to use caution at the intersection of State Route 107 and County Road 13 due to a malfunctioning traffic signal.
The Montpelier Police Department said the issue was reported Friday afternoon after a controller problem caused the signal to begin flashing.
Traffic on SR 107 is flashing yellow and may proceed with caution, while traffic on CR 13 is flashing red and must come to a complete stop before entering the intersection.
Village officials say they are aware of the problem and expect the traffic light to be repaired early next week. In the meantime, drivers are urged to slow down and remain alert when traveling through the area.
