(ANGOLA) - City officials issued a traffic advisory Tuesday after a water main break occurred early in the morning on Elizabeth Street between West Gilmore Street and West Broad Street.
City crews were dispatched to the scene and are working to repair the break as quickly as possible. Officials said the situation is being addressed, but repairs may take time due to freezing winter conditions.
Drivers are being asked to avoid the area and use alternate routes if possible. Those who must travel through the work zone are urged to use extreme caution.
Officials also emphasized the importance of public safety, asking motorists to remain mindful of crews working in hazardous weather conditions.
