(AUBURN) - Holly Albright has officially announced her candidacy for DeKalb County Auditor, highlighting decades of experience in county government, financial oversight and community leadership, according to The Star newspaper.
Albright holds a bachelor's degree in business with a concentration in accounting from Indiana University Fort Wayne. Her career includes 16 years in the DeKalb County Treasurer's Office, split evenly between serving as county treasurer and circuit court clerk. She currently serves as first deputy for the DeKalb County Circuit Court Clerk.
Beyond government service, Albright has served on the boards of the Community Foundation of DeKalb County and the DeKalb County Economic Development Partnership. She is currently vice chair of the DeKalb County Republican Party and vice president of the DeKalb County Republican Women's Club.
Albright said her campaign is focused on restoring what she describes as the auditor's core values: professional integrity, respectful public service and strong collaboration across county departments.
