(ANGOLA) - Angola High School has promoted defensive coordinator Seth Wilcox to head football coach, the school announced.
Wilcox spent last season coordinating the Hornets' defense and previously served five years as head coach at DeKalb, compiling an 18-33 record. He also has local ties as a former player at Trine University.
He replaces longtime coach Andy Thomas, who stepped down after 12 seasons. Thomas led Angola to a sectional championship this past fall and finished with a 68-59 record.
