(ADRIAN) - The murder trial of Dale Warner entered its tenth day Thursday with jurors hearing new testimony about the extensive search for his missing wife and key evidence recovered from the couple's property.

Proceedings resumed after jurors visited the Warner farm, where Dee Warner disappeared in April 2021. A Michigan State Police K-9 handler testified about multiple searches conducted between 2021 and 2024, noting he kept his dog away from anhydrous ammonia tanks on the property due to their toxic danger. Dee Warner's remains were later discovered welded inside one of those tanks in August 2024.

Investigators also presented digital and physical evidence, including testimony from an FBI agent and Monroe County and state police investigators.

Prosecutors introduced handwritten notes found in Dale Warner's truck that documented the couple's troubled relationship, including records of arguments and references to his wife's behavior before she vanished.

An FBI digital forensic examiner also played enhanced body camera audio from April 2021. The judge denied a defense request to provide jurors with a transcript, ruling the audio recording itself would serve as evidence.
