(COLDWATER) - The Branch County Secretary of State office in Coldwater will close for one week as it relocates to a temporary site during renovations.
The office at 7 Vans Avenue will close Monday, March 30 and reopen Monday, April 6 at 9 a.m. at its temporary location, 490 Marshall Street.
The project includes a redesigned office layout, a new public restroom, updated exterior features, and additional staff space. Construction is expected to be completed in September.
During the closure, many services can be completed online. Residents can also use a self-service station at the Meijer on East Chicago Road for license, ID, and plate renewals. In-person appointments can be scheduled at nearby offices in Hillsdale and Sturgis.
