(INDIANAPOLIS) - Indiana ranks among the states with relatively low workplace burnout risk, according to a new national study from WalletHub.

The report places Indiana 41st overall, with a burnout score of 44.68 out of 100.

WalletHub analyzed factors including average work hours, commute times, access to mental health care, and health-related productivity.

Data shows Indiana workers average about 40.4 hours per week, while about 6.3 percent face commutes longer than one hour.

The study also found workers lose an average of 10.4 days per month due to physical or mental health challenges.

Indiana ranks in the middle nationally for access to mental health providers, with about 236 providers per 100,000 residents.

Compared to neighboring states, Indiana ranks lower for burnout risk than Illinois and Ohio, but slightly higher than Michigan.
