(FORT WAYNE) - A California woman accused of stalking Fleetwood Mac guitarist Lindsey Buckingham for years is now awaiting extradition after her arrest in Fort Wayne.
Police say 55-year-old Michelle Dick was taken into custody Saturday night at a hotel in the 3000 block of Goshen Road on an extradition warrant out of California.
Investigators say Dick is accused of confronting Buckingham in Santa Monica on March 25 while he was headed into an appointment, throwing an unknown substance on him and damaging his vehicle before fleeing.
Authorities say the case follows several years of alleged stalking and harassment involving Buckingham and his family. Police say the repeated behavior led to a restraining order being issued against Dick in 2024.
After the latest confrontation, investigators believed Dick had fled California and traveled to Fort Wayne, where officers located and arrested her.
Dick remains in the Allen County Jail awaiting extradition to California.
