(ANGOLA) - The Steuben County Democratic Party is seeking candidates to run for several county offices in the November election.
Party leaders announced they are looking to fill positions on the fall ballot and are encouraging interested residents to come forward.
Open countywide races include assessor, auditor, prosecuting attorney, county commissioner, sheriff and surveyor. The party is also seeking candidates for four county council seats.
The positions carry varying eligibility requirements, including residency requirements and, in the case of prosecuting attorney, admission to practice law in Indiana.
According to information released by the party, annual salaries range from about $11,000 for county council positions to $173,000 for prosecuting attorney.
