INDIANAPOLIS (WLKI)- The Indiana State Fair continues Wednesday with Military and First Responders' Day, featuring entertainment, family activities and events highlighting baseball and agriculture.
The fairgrounds are open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., while the midway remains open until 10 p.m. Fair officials are also reminding visitors that the minor curfew policy begins at 6 p.m. The Expo Hall will remain closed Wednesday.
Among the day's featured attractions is the ABATE of Indiana Tiny Tots, which runs from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Meijer Family Fun Park. Young fairgoers can ride pint-sized motorcycles on a designated course in a controlled environment.
Other activities include the Patoka Lake albino snapping turtle at 1 p.m. and Take Flight: Live Birds of Prey at 4 p.m.
The Indy Dunkers will bring their combination of basketball stunts, comedy, music and audience participation to Indiana's Court at 5:30 and 7:30 p.m.
Music will also be a major part of Wednesday's schedule. Warrant, with special guest Vixen, will perform at the Hoosier Lottery Free Stage at 6:30 and 7:30 p.m., giving fairgoers an opportunity to hear classic 1980s rock hits.
Agriculture remains a major focus of the fair, with junior and senior 4-H tractor, lawn and garden contests, a featured farmer presentation from Hasting Plants and activities with Indiana soybean farmers.
The Washington Park Steppers are scheduled to perform at 7 p.m.
Fair officials are encouraging visitors to monitor weather updates and the Indiana State Fair's social media channels for changes or additional information throughout the day.
The fair will continue Thursday with Taste From Indiana Farms from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., the unveiling of the 2026 Cheese Sculpture at noon and a 7:30 p.m. performance by Busta Rhymes at the Free Stage.
