(BENTON) - The Angola football team scored first, fumbled late in the fourth quarter and then stopped a two-point conversion with :58 seconds left to beat host Fairfield 7-6 in an NECC Big School Division contest. Landon Bussard scored the lone touchdown for the Hornets. With the win, Angola is now 2-1 overall and 1-0 in the NECC Big School Division. Fairfield is 2-1 and 0-1 in the Division.
