Steuben County Jail Report Lists Five Arrests

ANGOLA, Ind. (WLKI)- The Steuben County Sheriff's Office reported five arrests in its latest daily media arrest summary, including allegations of domestic battery, resisting law enforcement and failure to return to jail.

Sabrina V. Furar, 32, of Warsaw, was arrested at 10 a.m. Tuesday at 206 East Gale Street in Angola. Jail records show she was booked on a felony charge of failure to return to lawful detention.

Later Tuesday night, deputies arrested 43-year-old Gabriel E. Rogers of Hudson at his home on South 850 West. He was booked on a misdemeanor domestic battery charge.

Angola Police arrested Matthew A. Tawdul, 45, at about 3:55 p.m. Tuesday at 3200 North Wayne Street. Tawdul was booked on a misdemeanor resisting law enforcement charge and was also taken into custody on a warrant alleging felony nonsupport of a dependent child.

The jail report lists a cash bond of $2,505, with an optional 10 percent bond amount of $255, on the resisting law enforcement allegation.

Shortly after 1 a.m. Wednesday, Angola Police arrested 36-year-old Ryan T. Thurmond at an address in the 100 block of North Public Square. He was booked on a misdemeanor disorderly conduct charge.

The jail report lists a surety bond of $1,005 for Thurmond.

According to the Steuben County Sheriff's Office, the report covers arrests made between 6 a.m. Tuesday and 6 a.m. Wednesday. All charges are allegations, and the defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
