(INDIANA) - AAA says holiday travel is about to surge, with nearly three million Hoosiers expected to hit the roads, skies, and rails in the final weeks of 2025.
About 2.9 million Indiana residents are projected to travel at least 50 miles between Dec. 20 and Jan. 1, marking a 3.3% increase over last year.
Officials say Christmas and New Year's remain the busiest travel stretch of the season, and they're urging drivers to plan ahead for crowded roads and changing winter weather conditions.
