FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WLKI)- Trine University has appointed Dr. Sue Stevens as the new dean of its Brooks College of Health Professions.

Stevens most recently served as director of the School of Health Professions and senior associate dean of health sciences at Mary Baldwin University's Murphy Deming College of Health Sciences.

The Brooks College of Health Professions began with Trine's Doctor of Physical Therapy program in 2014 and now includes programs in occupational therapy, physician assistant studies, nursing and surgical technology.

The college is located near Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. Its facility opened in 2024 and includes classrooms, laboratories and a simulated patient care center with mock surgery and emergency room suites.

According to Trine University, Stevens began her role Oct. 1.
