(WASHINGTON, D.C.) - Aldi has issued a nationwide recall of two holiday candy products after they were found to contain allergens not listed on the packaging.

The recall involves Choceur-branded Holiday Bark products manufactured by Silvestri Sweets Inc. One variety, Cookie Butter Holiday Bark, may contain undeclared pecans. Another variety, Pecan, Cranberry & Cinnamon Holiday Bark, may contain undeclared wheat.

The recall was expanded after a packaging mix-up caused one product to be placed in the wrong wrapper, according to information published by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

Consumers with allergies to pecans or wheat are advised not to consume the products, as doing so could result in a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction. No illnesses have been reported in connection with the recall.

The affected products were sold in five-ounce Choceur-branded stand-up pouch bags with the following lot numbers and best-by dates:

  • Cookie Butter Holiday Bark
  • Lot numbers 28525 and 29925, best by May 2026
  • Lot number 30625, best by June 2026
  • Pecan, Cranberry & Cinnamon Holiday Bark
  • Lot numbers 28525 and 29925, best by August 2026
  • Lot number 30625, best by September 2026

Customers who purchased the recalled items are advised to discard them or contact Silvestri Sweets at 1-630-232-2500 with questions.
