(ELKHART COUNTY) – An Elkhart County man has been arrested on charges of possession of child pornography.
On June 12, Detectives with the Indiana State Police Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force arrested 28 year old Joshua Grosenbacher, following an investigation that began when a tip was received from the National Center For Missing and Exploited Children. The tip ultimately led to a search warrant for a residence at 3114 Birch Drive in Elkhart, executed by the Indiana State Police.
As a result of the investigation, Grosenbacher was arrested on eight counts of possession of child pornography, which is a Level 5 felony; and two counts of possession of child pornography, a Level 6 felony.
Grosenbacher is being held in the Elkhart County Jail.
The Indiana State Police was assisted by the Elkhart and LaGrange Police Department; the Elkhart County Prosecutor’s Office; the United States Department of Homeland Security and the United States Border Patrol.
