(LAGRANGE) – There’s new royalty to represent LaGrange County for the next year.
Sunday afternoon at the 2024 LaGrange County 4-H Fair, the Fair Queen Contest was held for the first time since 2022, with five young ladies vying to be the new Queen.
After going through the different parts of the contest, the five young ladies were brought back on the Free Stage, where Katelyn Eash was named the 2024 LaGrange County 4-H Fair Queen. She was crowned by the 2022 Queen Maddie Taggart.
Eash says this is something she has been working for this title for awhile. LINKC.
For being named Queen, Eash will receive a $1,000 scholarship along with several other prizes.
Named First Runner-Up is Katie Rheinheimer. Second Runner-Up is Prairie Smith and Third Runner-Up is Ash Castle, who also was named Miss Congeniality. They also win prizes and scholarships.
Named the 2024 LaGrange County 4-H Fair Princess is Caitlyn Sherman. She says this is an experience that she will never forget. LINKD.
Eash will next compete for the title of 2024 Indiana State Fair Queen.
