(DEKALB COUNTY) – Alcohol and speed are thought to be factors in a one vehicle crash that injured the driver.
The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office says 43 year old Jason Inman of Waterloo was driving east on County Road 46A just before 10:30 PM Friday and failed to negotiate a curve at County Road 47.
Inman’s Chevrolet Equinox went into the ditch, then became airborne. It landed on its front end and then rolled end over end and ended on the driver’s side.
Inman was trapped in his vehicle and had to be removed by the Concord Fire Department, who along with the Parkview EMS initially treated him at the scene. He was flown to Parkview Regional Medical Center by Parkview Samaritan for treatment of facial lacerations and chest pain.
