Coldwater falls on the road to No. 10 Hastings 73-45
(HASTINGS) – It was a big night offensively as host and No. 10 Hastings beat Coldwater 73-45 in an Interstate 8 battle. The teams combined for 1,188 yards of total offense., with the host Saxons having 656 yards and 532 for Coldwater. Dracyn Foster was 23 of 41 for 514 yards and 6 touchdown for the Cardinals. He was also sacked 5 times and threw an interception. Evan Lewis had 8 receptions for 174 yards and 3 TD’s, while Bennett McDonald had 4 receptions for 174 yards and 2 TD’s. Dayton Ennis added 7 receptions for 105 yards and a touchdown. On the defensive side, Bennett McDonald had 7 tackles for Coldwater while Drew Ennis had 6 tackles. Coldwater is now 3-5 overall and 1-4 in the Interstate 8. Hastings improves to 7-1 and 5-1 in the Conference.
