The last service of the summer season at the historic Powers Church will be held Sunday, August 23 at 7:00 P.M. This service will celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Church. Mike Hesterman, pastor of the Metz Christian Church, will give the devotions for the service. This will be followed by an evening of beautiful music provided by the Little River Chorus who has performed at the church for over 40 years. Ice cream will be served after the service at the Metz Christian Church.
The church is located eight miles east of Angola, just north of US 20 on Old Road 1. A free will offering will be taken to enable further restoration of the church. The public are invited to attend. For more information call 260-668-5908 or visit our website at www.powerschurch.org.
