(OVID TOWNSHIP, MI) - A 35-year-old Bronson man was injured in a tubing accident Sunday afternoon on Coldwater Lake.
Branch County Sheriff's Office Marine Patrol deputies were dispatched around 4 p.m. after receiving reports of a tubing accident with injuries.
Bystanders removed the man from the water and brought him to shore, where LifeCare Ambulance personnel provided medical treatment.
The victim was transported to Insight Hospital in Coldwater with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
The Branch County Sheriff's Office was assisted by LifeCare Ambulance and Branch County Central Dispatch.
The incident remains under investigation.
