FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WLKI)- A fourth person has been charged in connection with a break-in at a downtown Fort Wayne law office.
Court records show 22-year-old Mark Honer Jr. is charged with burglary and criminal trespass. He joins Charlotte Messmann, 21, Aidan Gibbs, 22, and Orion Killen, 19, who face similar allegations.
According to a probable cause affidavit, an office manager reported seeing social-media posts from inside the law office in the Murphy Building. The posts allegedly showed the building's distinct green-lit architecture.
Police say the group was involved in "urban exploration," in which people enter abandoned or otherwise restricted buildings and structures.
Investigators say a door leading from an outdoor rooftop patio into an employee lounge had been damaged. The office manager also reported that drinks were taken from a shared employee refrigerator.
Police said Messmann admitted her involvement during an interview and identified Honer. Investigators reportedly found photos, videos and messages connected to the trip on her phone.
Messmann and Killen were booked into the Allen County Jail Monday. Warrants for Honer and Gibbs remained active as of the latest report.
