(ANGOLA) – Portions of two roads in Angola will be closed for a time on Saturday.
Steuben County Emergency Management Director Lee Greenamyer says from 10 AM until 12 PM portions of Calvary Lane and County Road 50 North will be closed. The temporary closures are in support of the 7th Annual Youth Triathlon, sponsored by the YMCA of Steuben County.
Calvary Lane and County Road 50 North will be closed between Hammel Drive and County Road 100 East. The roads are being closed to provide a safe route of travel for the youth, while they are participating in the bicycle portion of the race.
Public Safety personnel will be at both ends of the closed section of roadway to assist with directing traffic. The use of Mechanic Street and County Road 20 North during this time is recommended as an alternate route.
